The history

        The cooperative "Musicando Venezia" was born in March 2002 by the will of some musicians to develop a broader discussion within the folk music revival of the Venetian.

        Strengthened by a long experience not only in the folk tradition but also in light classical and contemporary, the ten founders of the cooperative, singers and musicians (accordionists and guitarists), gives birth to a rich repertoire of songs that go to constitute the so-called "serenades".

        Ranging from the traditional repertoire to veneziano most famous classical tunes, including the Neapolitan song until Italian successes of the fifties and sixties now joined the history of our country, serenata becomes a time when tradition and modernity meet and blend, a parenthesis within which there are moments and different music but united in helping to create a framework that can express the most typical of the Venetian while placing them in a historical national.
